I have 4+ years experience in UX and UI and I want to use my skills and my time to foster an altruistic and sustainable cause.

    Recently, I worked as a Senior Product Designer in a property technology company that enables selling and purchasing of real estate. I carried out design and research projects for business-to-consumer products and internal sales and administrative tools. The biggest challenge was that I was the only Product Designer.

    Before that, I worked for 3 years in the fintech realm on open banking consumer-facing products. I was responsible for end-to-end product design and for the usability testing efforts and became UX Research Lead in my last year there.

    As a freelancer, I had the chance to shape the branding and UI of the start up Grow My Tree that helps to reduce CO2 emissions through tree planting projects.

    A little bit about me
    My methodology

    I build products and features based on research and data. The logical approach evokes positive emotions on the users' side.

    Through feedback I strive to take business requirements, stakeholder needs and technical constraints into account. This is how I make businesses' products appear valuable and clear in their communication.

      Senior Product Designer at a PropTech

      Recently, I worked as the sole Senior Product Designer in a property technology company contributing to two squads. I carried out design and research projects for business-to-consumer products and internal sales and administrative tools.

      UX / UI Designer and Research Lead in a FinTech

      Before that, I worked for 3 years in the fintech realm on open banking consumer-facing products. I was responsible for end-to-end product design and for the usability testing efforts and became UX Research Lead in my last year there.

      Freelance projects

      Since 2018 I am engaged in freelance projects. I delivered dashboards for BMW Group IT and I had the chance to shape the branding and UI of the start up Grow My Tree that helps to reduce CO2 emissions through planting trees. I also created landing pages for businesses such as a pharmacy and an arborist business and implemented them in a content management system.

      Academic background in design and business

      I have a Bachelor in Business Administration and in Media and Communication Design. I used every grant possible and was fortunate enough to spend practical semesters in Hamburg and Munich and exchange semesters in Nice and Bangkok.

      Volunteering

      Apart from a voluntary social year in a workshop for people with special needs, I recently spent 1,5 months volunteering on two farm communities. I have learned about nature, market gardening and agriculture when I prepared patches, planted seedlings and weeded and mulched in the greenhouse together with five other volunteers.

      I identify to a great extent through my job. I need to know that every minute of my work time I contribute to a good cause.

      To enjoy myself the most at work the ratio between research and design is 20 to 80. User testing is crucial, however, where I flourish is in Figma.
